We’re on a mission to redefine trust, transparency, and speed in Africa’s digital trading space.We’re looking for an experienced Trading Operations Consultant with a background in crypto and gift card trading to help us improve operational efficiency, optimize liquidity, and deliver top-tier trading experiences to our users.Location: Remote (Nigeria preferred, open to Africa-based candidates)Employment Type: Full-TimeRole OverviewThe Trading Operations Manager will manage and refine the end-to-end trading process — from rate management and liquidity coordination to payout accuracy and fraud prevention. You’ll support the Operations Lead in scaling Xbanka’s trading systems while ensuring fast, secure, and transparent transactions for users.Key ResponsibilitiesManage daily gift card and crypto trading operations, ensuring fast trade turnaround and zero payout delays.Oversee rate updates, monitor market fluctuations, and maintain accurate buy/sell rates.Implement and improve SOPs for trade processing, KYC verification, and fraud prevention.Work closely with the Customer Support team to resolve trade disputes and enhance user satisfaction.Track and report key operational KPIs (trade volume, turnaround time, error rates, etc.).Identify operational inefficiencies and collaborate with the tech team to automate manual processes.Liaise with liquidity providers and payout partners to ensure consistent fund flow.Assist in onboarding and training junior trading staff as the team scales.Provide daily and weekly reports to the Operations Lead.Required Qualifications & Experience2+ years experience in operations or trading roles at a crypto or gift card exchange platformStrong knowledge of crypto trading flows, blockchain transfers, and gift card verification processesExperience managing liquidity and payout systems.Process-oriented thinker with a track record of improving speed and reliability in operations.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Integrity, accountability, and attention to detail are non-negotiable.Preferred SkillsFamiliar with WhatsApp Business processes and automation tools.Experience using spreadsheets, dashboards, and CRM tools to track trades.Analytical mindset with ability to spot patterns and prevent fraud.Familiarity with Nigerian and African fintech/payment rails.What We OfferCompetitive pay + performance bonuses tied to operational KPIs.Fully remote, flexible work environment.Opportunity to grow into a Senior Manager or Country Operations roleWork with a passionate, fast-moving team shaping Africa’s digital trading ecosystem.How to ApplyApply on LinkedIn Easy Apply or send your CV and a short note on your most impactful result in a crypto or gift card company should forward their CVs to careers@xbankang.com with the subject line with the subject: “Trading Operations Consultant – Xbanka”
