Project Operations Coordinator (Contract)We’re seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Project Operations Coordinator to lead the coordination of a large-scale special project supporting the growth of an in-store business initiative. This individual will oversee the mobilization of approximately 80 field representatives across six cities to complete high-volume test transactions—visiting over 100 stores per city on a tight timeline. The role is essential to ensuring operational excellence and seamless execution across thousands of retail locations.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate Field Testers Nationwide: Recruit, organize, and manage 80+ participants conducting in-store test transactions across multiple cities.Distribute Store Assignments: Assign store lists to participants and ensure complete, balanced coverage across all test locations.Track Progress and Quality: Monitor tester activity in real time using Google Sheets, verify completion data, and follow up on missing or inaccurate submissions.Maintain Clear Communication: Serve as the main point of contact, providing daily communication, instructions, and troubleshooting support via email, chat, or internal tools.Ensure Data Accuracy: Create and maintain tracking sheets to monitor assignments, completions, and payments while ensuring data integrity.Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with internal operations and strategy teams to share updates, insights, and risks identified during testing.QualificationsStrong proficiency in Google Sheets (advanced formulas, filters, and conditional formatting required).Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage complex, detail-heavy workflows.Strong written and verbal communication abilities.Comfortable managing and motivating a large distributed workforce (gig workers or field staff).Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.Prior experience in operations, logistics, or field coordination is strongly preferred.
