Job Purpose JOB DESCRIPTION Weatherford International, a leading global provider of oil and gas services, is seeking an experienced Operations Coordinator for our Fishing & Re-Entry division based in Ortona, Italy. This position plays a crucial role in supporting our operational excellence in the Mediterranean region while ensuring the efficient delivery of our specialized downhole fishing and re-entry services.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate fishing and re-entry operations across assigned projects in Italy and potentially other Mediterranean locationsManage the logistics of equipment mobilization and demobilization to offshore and onshore locationsPrepare detailed operational plans and schedules in collaboration with technical teamsLiaise between field personnel, management, and clients to ensure smooth operationsMonitor inventory levels of fishing tools and equipment, coordinating maintenance and repairsEnsure compliance with Weatherford's HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) policies and proceduresPrepare and maintain accurate operational documentation and reportsAssist in cost control and budget management for assigned projectsParticipate in pre-job planning meetings and post-job reviewsSupport continuous improvement initiatives within the Fishing & Re-Entry divisionQualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related technical field preferredMinimum 3-5 years of experience in oil and gas operations, preferably with exposure to fishing operationsKnowledge of downhole fishing tools, techniques, and re-entry operationsStrong understanding of well intervention procedures and equipmentExcellent organizational and time management skillsProficiency in Italian and English (both written and verbal)Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office suite and oil field service softwareValid driving license and willingness to travel occasionally to offshore locationsIWCF/IADC Well Control certification is a plusExperience with HSE management systems in the oil and gas industry About UsWeatherford is a leading global energy services company.
