This role calls for a high sense of responsibility and reliability, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing vessels’ requirements, booking relevant services, issuing all relevant shipping documentation, undertaking vessel boarding and perform any other tasks related to the job. In line with company policy, Inchcape does not provide visa sponsorship for candidates and cannot consider applicants who will require this now or in the future.Key Duties and Responsibilities:Handling inquiries received from customers and negotiating prices. Fulfilling vessel boarding duties on vessel’s arrival and prior departure, including but not limited to meetings with Captain and Government officials. Managing the pre-arrival documentation process between the vessel, port/terminal and the government officials. Booking of port services for vessels’ berthing. Ensure that the company’s KPIs are met. Proformas DA creationProvide 24/7 assistance for all vessels upon request. Operations coordination in all Greek portsHandling crew change upon request. Assist the other depts. of the Marine Services Division upon request. Continuous monitoring of corporate email communicationSeeking new methods to reduce operational costs and find efficiencies for the port office. Liaise with clients and port services on a daily basis. Comply with all Health & Safety policies. Use of corporate systems (SEDNA – Optic LPA). Invoice collectionWho You Are:Minimum 5 years of working experience as a port agent/boarding officer. Good knowledge of local port conditions and regulations. Ship agency / boarding experience for tanker / bulk / liner vessels. Fluent in English with excellent communications skills, both oral and written. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office & Excel. Use of software and reporting tools. Strong time management skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Full valid Driving Licence.
