This position plays an important role in the coordination of inbound ocean and air freight shipments, ensuring containers are efficiently tracked, scheduled, and delivered to final destinations without delays or additional costs.You will serve as the main operational point of contact between receivers, vendors, clients, and internal teams, ensuring a smooth and proactive flow of communication throughout each shipment’s journey.As part of an international logistics group, you will be exposed to global markets and operations, collaborating with partners and clients across multiple regions.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and track inbound containers arriving in U.S. ports.Communicate daily with receivers, vendors, clients, and steamship lines to coordinate pick up and deliveries.Follow up on each shipment’s progress to anticipate and resolve potential delays.Take proactive measures to avoid extra costs (e.g., demurrage, detention, or storage fees).Maintain accurate updates in internal tracking systems.Collaborate with colleagues and management to ensure smooth execution of all operations.Qualifications1–3 years of experience in freight forwarding, customer service, operations, and logistics.Proficiency in Microsoft OfficeExcellent communication and problem-solving skills.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive under time pressure.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Experience with logistics systems or tracking tools is a plus.What We OfferCompensation: $55,000 - $70,000 annually, depending on experience.Health insurance and paid time off.A professional, collaborative work environment with flat hierarchies.Opportunity to grow within a global logistics network and gain exposure to international markets.Job Type: Full-time, HybridBenefitsHealth insurancePaid time off
