Job Description

The Operations Director will be responsible for overseeing the execution of facade projects, including planning, site operations, team management, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards. Key responsibilities:Oversee day-to-day operations of facade projects from planning to completion.Lead, manage, and coordinate with project directors, project managers, supervisors, and site personnel across multiple site projects.Develop and monitor project schedules, plans and manpower to evaluate and improve efficiency.Maintain and update the monthly manpower plan to ensure accurate resource allocation and forecasting.Efficiently manage a team of site surveyors deployed across various project sites and ensure the list of available instruments and tools is kept up to date.Act as the primary point of contact between architects, engineers, consultants, and clients to ensure seamless project delivery.Ensure all work is performed to the required quality standards and that all site safety regulations are strictly followed.Manage project budgets and costs, identify potential risks, and propose corrective actions to stay on track.Assist the project and site management team in evaluating and forecasting the cost-to-complete for installation activities, ensuring alignment with the assigned budget.Provide technical guidance on facade systems, materials, and installation methods, both during the sales and tendering phase and throughout project execution. Required skills and experience:Minimum 20-years’ experience in project management within the facade industry.Strong knowledge of various facade systems like curtain walls, cladding, and glazing.Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Proven ability to manage and coordinate large teams.Understanding of construction programming, site logistics, and safety compliance.An engineering degree is preferred.
