Given this success in our existing markets, SharkNinja has embarked on a bold plan for growing APAC business, in which South Korea plays a critical role.To be ready for this rapid growth, we are looking for an individual who has proven experience in leading Retail Supply Chain/Ecommerce operations throughout South Korea, including Order Management, third party logistics performance, demand and supply planning, customer service/repairs at a senior level.The successful candidate will partner with local and regional stakeholders to ensure the delivery of reliable and sustained service levels at the lowest possible cost. They will demonstrate strong communication skills, influencing skills, and analytical skills. They will be motivated by a fast-paced high growth environment that requires agility and flexibility and adaptability to enable ongoing growth of the business.Here are some of the exciting things you’ll get to do: Proactively assess and define the operational systems, capabilities, and capacity required to support the rapid scaling of the South Korea business, ensuring alignment with overall corporate strategy. Lead the formulation and execution of a comprehensive operations strategy and resource planning framework tailored for the market, driving operational efficiency and effectiveness. Define the right people resource for operation system and establish the team accordingly. Manage the performance for third-party operations providers (warehouse, distribution, customer service, etc), ensuring that warehouse and delivery KPI’s/ outsourced customer service and order management functions including shipment track and trace, are met or exceeded and that costs are maintained at or below plan expectations. Quickly identify root cause of any performance deviation, develop and take actions to resolve root cause and take further corrective action as needed. Manage the integrity of on-hand inventory, ensuring regular counts are being completed, root causes of any variance determined with actions taken to resolve the gap and ensure inventory quality is maintained at optimal levels. Manage reverse logistics flows, ensuring that return process is adhered to, that robust processes are in place to validate that the condition of receipts are in compliance with return policy, harvesting accessories as is possible or needed. Enable development of reliable demand plans, identifying corrective actions to resolve forecast accuracy gaps by supporting the demand planner reconcile the current market demand plan to the current finance plan. Participate in market S&OP process, taking an active role to ensure actions are completed on time. Ensure that the planning team is providing a reliable flow of information inbound product shipments from source and destination partners to ensure the on-time arrival and receipt of imported goods. Work with the supply planner and freight forwarder to quickly identify root cause of any course deviation, develop and take actions to resolve root cause and take further corrective action as needed. Collaborate with supply planner to ensure maintenance of optimal market inventory levels, making visible to cross functional stakeholders’ potential impacts to service levels and inventory levels with recommended mitigation including the elimination of SLOB’s risk by working with sales team and/or cross functionally to complete disposition actions on time. Drive the ongoing achievement of performance standards and service levels that consistently meet or exceed customer and consumer expectations, fostering a culture of excellence in service delivery. Strategically manage the cost to serve and productivity metrics, implementing initiatives that ensure competitive cost structures while maintaining high service quality. Identify, propose, and lead critical operations projects, employing robust business case justification, comprehensive risk management, and realistic timelines; closely monitor execution and address challenges proactively. Continuously monitor developments, trends, and changes within the South Korea supply chain landscape that may impact service delivery, cost efficiency, or operational capabilities; collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to develop timely and effective operational responses. Foster strong partnerships across departments to ensure alignment on operational strategies and drive seamless execution of initiatives that support overall business objectives.RequirementsThe ideal candidate will be a Supply Chain or Operations professional with proven experience driving South Korea supply chain activities within a fast-paced, consumer-focused environment. The colleague must be a proactive, action-oriented with the ability to quickly solve complex problems and a “make it happen” attitude. This leader must also have strong experience and proven ability in partnering with and influencing cross functional internal and external stakeholders. Most importantly, this individual must balance the strategic and hands-on requirements of this position. The ideal candidate should be a Supply Chain or Operations professional with at least 20 years operations experience across all functional areas, with a minimum 8 years’ experience in leadership roles. Demonstrated experience in Ecommerce and B2B operations or supply management that deliver best-in-class service at the lowest possible cost. Experience in planning, logistics, order management and customer service for South Korea supply chain. Proven ability in partnering with and influencing cross functional internal and external stakeholders to achieve business objectives. A strong knowledge of operations systems including ERP, WMS, EDI, OMS/Middleware Ability to solve complex problems in a short term, with an ability to evolve those initial solves into long term operational practice and “Can do” attitude to solving supply chain challenges. Deep understanding of the physical flows and activities from Asian source to South Korea DC and DC to customer and consumer. Demonstrated experience evolving logistics networks and operations systems, structures and processes/SOP’s including leading the execution of operational projects or project elements. An ability to hire, lead and develop our associates in an engaging, inclusive and results oriented style. An operations degree or MBA with logistics or supply chain specialization
