About UsUA Mental Help is a nonprofit improving mental health and well-being in Ukraine, especially for vulnerable groups - women, youth, LGBTQ+ individuals, displaced people, and helping professionals. We provide accessible psychological support, high-quality psychoeducation, and advocate for systemic change.The RoleWe are seeking a high-level Operations Director to lead and integrate our core operational functions — including finance, human resources, legal affairs, administration, and digital operations. This is a strategic leadership role with cross-functional responsibility and a mandate to build a strong, resilient internal infrastructure to support the organization’s mission and sustainable growth.This position is based on-site in Kyiv and requires a proactive leader committed to hands-on, in-person management and close collaboration with the executive team.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and optimize operational systems to ensure efficiency, compliance, and strategic alignment.Oversee financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and internal controls.Supervise HR functions including hiring, team development, and organizational culture.Ensure legal integrity of organizational processes, managing risk and contractual obligations.Manage digital infrastructure and support the development of tech-enabled services and platforms.Coordinate administrative functions and support the day-to-day operations of all departments.Act as a key leadership figure, contributing to strategic planning and decision-making at the highest level.Who You AreA seasoned operations leader with at least 5–7 years of experience in senior roles within NGOs, mission-driven organizations, or complex operational environments.Strong knowledge of finance, HR, legal, or digital domains — ideally across multiple areas.Able to lead both strategically and operationally, with excellent problem-solving and team leadership skills.Fluent in Ukrainian with professional working proficiency in English.Based in Kyiv and committed to regular in-office presence.What We OfferA high-impact leadership position in a mission-driven, innovative organization.A dynamic and collaborative work environment focused on systemic change.Fair and competitive compensation aligned with qualifications and responsibilities.
