Our diverse customer base includes owners and charterers in the oil, cruise, container, and bulk commodity sectors, as well as naval, government, and intergovernmental organisations.Role Summary:The main responsibility of the Operations Executive will be to coordinate and execute shipping operations for agency ship calls at Fujairah /Khorfakkan.Contract: PermanentLocation: Fujairah, UAE (On-Site)Key Responsibilities:Execution of day to day operations: All enquiries from vessel/clients at Fujairah/Khorfakkan are timely actioned inline with ISO procedure. Will be responsible to coordinate with all supplier/vendors/port authority in order to execute services. Ensure adequate information is passed to ISS crew and spares desk so that spares/crew are connected to respective launch on time and vice versa. Preparation of Proforma disbursements inline with ISS tariff for various enquiry/appointments for vessels calling Inport /anchorage at Fujairah, Khorfakkan. Monitor day to day coordination which includes scheduling of launches, crew meet and assist, delivery of incoming/outgoing spares/mails as requested by clients/vessels. Ensure immigration papers are prepared, attested and dispatched from Fujairah soonest request received from client. Update OPTIC LPA on a real time basis. Clearance of tally sheets soonest trips executed and dispatch the same to finance team. Ensure all third party invoices are received and cross checked with tariffs; approved and forwarded to finance team for final dispatch of DA to client. Ensure all operational reports are sent to concern on a timely manner. HSSE - Health, Safety, Security and Risk (mandatory requirements)Comply with all Health & Safety policies. Accountable for assessing HSSE risk and implementing risk controls within area of responsibility. Accountable for reporting all accidents, incidents and near misses whether the persons are injured or not. Taking action within area of accountability to ensure the HSSE of both the job holder and other persons who may be affected by acts carried out or failed to be carried out by the job holder while at work. Ensure full compliance with the ISS HSSE Management System. YourISS 2.0 / SystemsFull utilization of YourISS 2.0 as per ISS Standard Operating ProceduresThe post holder will carry out any other duties as are within the scope and purpose of the job as requested by the Line Manager and ensure full utilization of all ISS systems according to Standard Operating Procedures.Candidate Requirements:University Graduate with computer skills. Knowledge and experience in basic shipping (1 year+). UAE driving Licence. Good MS Office skills. Knowledge of basic office management like procurement (stationary, pantry items, furniture), building maintenance, preparing letters. Communication skills. Management skills. Working within team.
