During 15 intense and exciting months, our Operations Graduate Program will give you a holistic view of our operational and logistic activities, including both the local and global perspective. You will be working with the technologies of tomorrow, building the products of the future – electric, connected and automated. In parallel, you will grow as a person, through individual and team development sessions. You will have a permanent position from day one, with a manager and mentor to support you. You will experience several local and international on the job-rotations and work on business-critical projects developing your competencies for tomorrow. You will take a deep dive into some specific areas of our business such as manufacturing, health and safety, quality, and continuous improvements, while also learning about the end-to-end supply chain, aftermarket parts and our remanufacturing operations. This is us, your new teamYou will join the Service Development function in Service Market Logistics. At SML we aim to deliver excellent aftermarket services to our customers, for all Volvo Group Brands and JV´s. Our department Logistics Preparation, Quality and Environment is a global team of dedicated experts with diverse backgrounds and competences, creating strong synergies to support our strategies. Our task is to drive and develop processes, setting vision and roadmaps in the Service Market supply chain, creating value for our customers in an environment of rapid changes. You will have the opportunity to work in an international, cross-functional environment, where you will gain exposure to a wide range of projects and activities.Main Activities And ResponsibilitiesThe Sustainability Excellence Leader is a motivated and analytical team member with a passion for sustainability, environment, transport, and supply chain. You will support the development and execution of our environmental sustainability strategy, helping us unlock the full potential of the Volvo Group service business.Contribute to the implementation of our strategy and develop roadmaps to achieve SML's environmental sustainability strategy and target.Participate in cross-functional projects and continuous improvement initiatives.Collect, validate, and analyze environmental data to identify improvement and drive opportunities to reduce environmental impact.Build and maintain digital solutions for automating emission reporting and monitoring together with data scientists/engineers and supply chain experts.Develop and monitor global KPIs definitions, metrics and target setting for environmental sustainability, strive for automation and data accuracy.Inspire and engage the organization by sharing knowledge and fostering an understanding of the importance of environmental sustainability. Prepare and share insights through reports, presentations, and workshops to engage stakeholders at all levels.Benchmark best practices and stay ahead of industry trends, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, and driving innovation in sustainability practices. Required Knowledge/experienceMSc in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations management or relevant field, maybe with a specialization in Sustainability or EnvironmentMaximum two years of previous full-time working experience, prior to or after graduation. Work during studies are not included. In this truly global program, communication will be in English, hence you need to be fluent in both speaking and writing in English.
