Operations Manager (Interior Fit-Out Sector) UAE - must have working rights and reside in the UAE**You will have a minimum of 10 years construction experience****You will have a minimum of 5 years UAE experience with a Tier 1 contractor****Strong knowledge and application of regional and local Health & Safety guidelines**AED 30,000 – 40,000 per monthPosition PurposeThe Operations Manager will play a central role in supporting the Head of Operations in the overall running and continuous improvement of the Operations team. As the company continues to expand, this role ensures that projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction. The position oversees a team of Project Managers, ensuring ISO systems and procedures are consistently implemented and enhanced, reporting is accurate and timely, and the company’s reputation is strengthened through professional delivery and client engagement.Essential Functions & DutiesProject Leadership: Mentor and guide Project Managers to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and snag-free, while fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.Resource & Supply Chain Management: Support the Head of Operations in resource planning, labour allocation, and supply chain optimisation to improve efficiency and profitability.Planning & Scheduling: Direct planning teams and Project Managers in developing detailed project programs and procurement schedules that align with client expectations and contractual obligations.Client Engagement: Attend weekly client meetings, representing the company with professionalism and ensuring strong, long-term relationships.Performance Oversight: Review and manage weekly reports from Project Managers, ensuring transparency and proactive problem-solving.Logistics Management: Oversee logistics for all projects, ensuring smooth coordination between teams, suppliers, and subcontractors.Commercial Collaboration: Work closely with the Commercial Manager on Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs) to ensure financial targets are met.Contractual Compliance: Ensure all contractual obligations are fully adhered to and fulfilled.Flexible Operations: Operate effectively from both office and site environments, adapting to project needs.Health & Safety: Ensure HSE standards are upheld to the highest level, embedding a culture of safety across all teams.Personal CharacteristicsSelf-motivated and disciplined, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proven leadership ability, with a “lead by example” approach that inspires teams.Solid understanding of business management fundamentals and commercial awareness.In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, techniques, and industry best practices.Results-driven and proactive, with strong risk analysis and mitigation skills.Excellent communication skills across all levels of management and client interfaces.Performance MeasurementsProjects delivered on time and snag-free at handover.HSE compliance consistently achieving 95%+.Strong and lasting client relationships maintained and improved.Profit margins enhanced through effective supply chain and specification management.Positive team culture and mindset fostered across project teams.ISO systems and procedures fully implemented and continuously improved.Drawings, materials, and specifications followed accurately in project execution.Qualifications & RequirementsMinimum 10 years’ experience in the construction industry.At least 5 years’ UAE experience with a Tier 1 contractor.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project planning software.Strong knowledge and application of Health & Safety guidelines.Learning & Development CompetenciesCustomer Focus – Level 4Integrity & Trust – Level 4Teamwork – Level 4Priority Setting & Time Management – Level 4
