As the Operations Manager overseeing the NSW branch AV project operations, you are responsible for ensuring the successful execution of all projects while maintaining operational efficiency, safety, and compliance. This role involves end-to-end coordination of project delivery, resource planning, and contract oversight to meet both client expectations and organisational objectives. You will work closely with project teams and stakeholders to ensure all contractual obligations and compliance requirements are fulfilled, while also aligning workforce deployment with project timelines and regional priorities.Key duties include forecasting resource and project needs, identifying and mitigating risks, and providing clear, timely progress updates to senior management. A strong focus on operational excellence, team leadership, and quality control is essential, as is the ability to mentor and supervise multiple installation teams across various projects. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high standards of service delivery across the region.If you have a passion for audio visual technology and the experience, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.Key responsibilities:Workforce & Resource Planning: Oversee project labour forecasting, manage staffing levels, and coordinate resourcing across projects including national locations.HR & Team Management: Lead recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and leave/timesheet approvals for the projects team.Process & Procedure Oversight: Develop, implement, and maintain procedures to ensure efficient project delivery and inter-departmental collaboration.Team Leadership & Development: Mentor and support project managers and site staff; conduct performance reviews; foster a high-performance culture.Project Delivery Oversight: Supervise project delivery, and commissioning teams to ensure projects meet quality, safety, and budget expectations.Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Provide technical input post-sale, support design reviews, and attend sites for guidance and supervision.Compliance & Quality Assurance: Conduct safety meetings, ensure adherence to company standards and industry regulations, and monitor continuous improvement.Financial Oversight: Ensure project forecasts and budgets are accurate and up to date; review project performance through WIP meetings and risk tracking.Project Lifecycle Management: Ensure seamless handover of completed projects to the service delivery team through to DLP stage.The ideal candidate will have:AV industry experience with 5+ years managing large complex projectsA hands-on approach with practical and analytical skillsStrong communication, people management skills and team building capabilities.Ability to maintain and develop industry/ technical Knowledge.Manage their time efficiently and prioritise tasks.A sound understanding of audio-visual systems and other related construction service disciplines.Proven experience in managing project teamsPreferably have an AGSVA clearanceWhat’s in it for you?Be part of a globally recognised, award-winning AV technologies team, working on high-profile and exciting projects.Work with some of the largest brands in AVAccess to a range of learning and development opportunities and professional networks within the AV industryLearn more about Diversified at onediversified.com/au.About usDiversified is a leading provider of audio-visual solutions and services.
