Job Description

We are seeking an Operations Manager to join our Operations team in Mozambique. This role exists to ensure that Ipsos Mozambique has the required operational capabilities to meet our Clients’ needs. The role holder will focus on optimizing Ipsos ’s efficiencies in processes and systems, and on developing the Company’s ability to drive people, process, and Information Technology improvements aimed at maintaining the highest levels of quality and service to clients. ResponsibilitiesDevelops and implement strategic initiatives in order to improve operational processes, aligned to the SSA Operations strategyOverall responsibility for quality, timeliness, and profitability of data collection in the Research DivisionOversees the rollout and full implementation of relevant global processes within operationsManages the Field, CATI, Coding, and Quality Control teams to ensure delivery of KPIsEnsures teams are suitably resources with skilled staff, and with appropriate trainingMonitor financial KPIs to ensure meeting (or beating) budgets setProvide guidance on how to improve performance versus budget by adopting efficiency initiatives including software and technologyAct as a trouble-shooter in dealing with particular project issues and problemsAdheres to policies and procedures, acting as an advocate throughout the Operations teamsProvides support and guidance to Managers’ teams in capacity and resource planningEstablish technical standards and ensure adherence to them for company operationsKnowledge and Skills:Experience in research and specifically in an Operations environment3 – 4 years of hands-on experience on the operational side of Market and Social Research, preferably in full-time positionsDecisive in nature with the ability to make tough decisions within difficult situations and circumstancesExcellent team player with a collaborative style of communicating and leading with ability to make decisionsExceptional interpersonal and people skills to work with different types of peopleA solution-oriented person who is able to come up with creative and positive ideas to drive the teams and operations forwardConsiderable ability to manage and coordinate functions of various departmentsStrong commercial acumenQualifications3+ years of experience in a similar roleProficiency with Microsoft OfficeStrong organizational and communication skillsStrong ability to multitaskComfort working with multiple groups within businessPlease share CVS to Jobs.mozambique@ipsos.com
