This is an opportunity to join a stable, growth-oriented organization where professionalism, safety, and teamwork are deeply valued.Primary Role:The company is seeking to enhance their operational leadership for a factory employing around 100 people with the appointment of this role focusing primarily on the development of manufacturing processes, production efficiency, cost control and people development.Key Accountabilities:Fully responsible for leading the factory including all production related departments and activities: production, health, safety & environment, quality assurance, maintenance, and warehouse.Accountable for achieving budget, performance, sustainability & cost targets of the plant / site.Leading the production and engineering teams to develop and improve processing issues in a factory which includes mixing, drying, grinding, granulation and compounding.Provide on-site leadership to the non-direct functions that include warehouse, HR, finance and procurement to ensure all personnel are working to their full potentialTroubleshoot using root cause analysis on ‘one off’ and recurring production problems; implement long-term corrective actions.Create better consistency in the various manufacturing processes through the development of KPI’s, standard operating procedures and working practices.Positively challenge the status quo in the factory and proactively implement process improvements, which will underpin better efficiencies, material throughput, waste, and housekeeping.Ensuring appropriate staffing levels and training of all employees on the site.The Person:Educated in a scientific (chemistry, polymers, materials) or similar technical degree.Experienced in leading and developing a chemical, polymers or raw materials factory.Hands-on approach to solving technical and processing issues.Background in the chemical, polymers, food, confectionery, paint or concrete is of interestExperience in troubleshooting production and technical processes.Knowledgeable in process capability, root cause analysis and related analytical techniquesGood communication and management skills.Collaborative, approachable, and mentoring people leadership skills.Good problem-solving abilities.Team-focused.Multitasking and time-management skills.Strong attention to deal.Accountable, leads by example and convincing style.Fluent in Turkish and English.To apply please contact Conrad Taylorconrad.taylor@listgrove.com0044 (0) 1789 207070CONNECT WITH ME ON LINKEDIN.
