Operations Manager, Marketplace, CEE Mobility

Location:Primary location of the team is Warsaw, however this role can be also based in the following locations:Prague, Czech RepublicBucharest, RomaniaZagreb, CroatiaAbout the teamWithin the Marketplace team, our goal is to deliver the most competitive, reliable, and efficient service for riders and drivers. In pursuit of this, we use data analytics and operational levers, such as pricing, products, processes, and promotions, to drive sustainable, profitable growth.You'll need to deep dive into the details at one end and see the broader picture at the other end to drive sound business decisions backed by quantitative analyses, rapid experimentation, and qualitative insights in an ever-changing and evolving marketplace landscape. This role requires proficiency in data analytics, an eye for business, an understanding of customers' needs, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.About The RoleAs a Senior Marketplace Operations Manager, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable levers to foster supply and demand growth and engagement across the region. On a day-to-day basis, you will:Monitor marketplace performance in 10 countries and nearly 100 citiesBuild performance monitoring frameworks for Uber product portfolio and develop cross-product pricing, investment recommendationsDesign and implement competitive intel processes and monitor Uber competitive landscapeDesign proposals for supply- and demand-side investments, execute them and evaluate their performanceWork on innovative projects, digging deep into the backbone of the CEE marketplace using advanced analytical toolsLaunch new marketplace product features, including advanced pricing technologies Drive automation of key business processesDesign and execute marketplace experiments and leverage their results to drive operational improvements in the marketplaceSupport financial management and budgeting for the regionContribute to CEE strategy development and implementationWhat you'll needA minimum of 3 years of proven experience in business intelligence / strategy / analytics / consulting or related areas is preferred, but we will consider candidates with less experience if they meet our other requirementsData extraction, cleansing, analysis and visualization - strong competency with SQL, Excel (Gsheets) is a mustAt least basic familiarity with tools and methods of statistical or econometric analysisAt least basic understanding of budgeting and P&L management and ability to develop business casesAbility to translate data insights into recommendations and link deep dive data analysis with broader strategySpoken and written English proficiency
