The role drives profitability, operational performance, and customer experience across all stores, ensuring flawless execution of business priorities and consistent delivery of results.This position is a key part of the leadership team, transforming strategy into action, empowering high-performing teams, and ensuring that every retail outlet embodies MMI’s HERO values and commercial ambition.Key Responsibilities:Lead the execution of MMI’s retail and commercial strategy to drive market share, profitability, and customer engagement across all retail channels.Oversee store operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and consistent implementation of SOPs and operating standards.Manage full P&L accountability for the retail business, including sales, margins, stock control, and cost efficiency.Direct new store openings, refurbishments, and layout optimisation to strengthen brand presence and elevate the customer experience.Lead and develop a high-performing team of over 150 employees, ensuring strong succession pipelines and a culture of accountability, inclusion, and engagement.Drive customer experience excellence through continuous improvement, feedback systems, and service innovation.Required Qualification and Experience:Minimum 10 years’ experience in retail, with at least 5 years managing multi-site and multi-national teams.Proven success in leading large-scale retail operations and driving commercial performance.Experience working with luxury brands, high-net-worth customers, and strategic business partners.Strong financial acumen, analytical skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Flexible and adaptable, able to work weekends or travel as business requires.Holds a valid driving license.Desirable Skills & Qualification:WSET Level 2 in Wines & Spirits.Experience in luxury retail, wine, or premium beverage sectors.Strong visual merchandisingAdditional language proficiency and creative marketing experience are advantageousWhat we offer:Join a team of experienced professionals who are experts in the industry.
