Operations Manager DutiesAssists/supports supervisor(s) to ensure policies and procedures are being followedOversees with supervisor(s) the evaluation of all warehouse employeesEstablishes an appropriate rapport with customers, vendors, and delivery driversOversees accuracy of all in-bound shipments, reports discrepancies Oversees other shipping records such as returned merchandise, damage, discrepancies, etc.Responsible for oversight of inventory levels with system cycle counts against physical countsProvides training on processes and proceduresCommunicates business plans and departmental goals and objectivesPromotes and enforce workplace safety procedures and measures for the distribution centerOperations Manager QualificationsMinimum 3-5 years warehouse management experienceMinimum 3 years of inventory control and SKU management experienceHigh degree of attention to detailEffective ability to interface with all levels within the organizationModerate level of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook Proficiently operate a variety of powered industrial trucksAbility to perform light to heavy physical tasks; able to safely lift 50 lbs.
