Operations Manager

Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for an Operations Manager on behalf of our water and wastewater treatment company based in Santa Monica, CA! This is an opportunity offering a full-time, on-site work schedule.We are looking for an Operations Manager to join our team in Santa Monica, CA. This position will play a vital role in overseeing day-to-day field activities related to water and wastewater systems. The ideal candidate will focus on staff leadership, operational efficiency, compliance reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure reliable and cost-effective services throughout Southern California.Job Responsibilities:Lead and support field personnel, serving as the main point of contact for operational matters Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports required for regulatory and internal purposes Design and implement updated work processes that improve compliance, performance, and efficiency Build and sustain strong working relationships with team members, regulators, partners, and community stakeholders Address and resolve service requests, customer concerns, and operational issues as they arise Qualifications:1 year of experience in operations, utilities, or field management role High School Diploma or higher education Strong interpersonal skills for working effectively across diverse groups A hands-on approach and willingness to take initiative in a fast-moving environment Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and perform well in high-pressure situations Willingness to travel within Southern California approximately one day each week COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:This opportunity provides room for professional growth within a fast-moving team that is working toward ambitious goals, along with an annual salary range of $100,000–$110,000, depending on experience.
