The main activity of NLC is refilling and distributing gas cylinders and packaging and distributing SodaStream products for the European market. Your leadership and communication skills will help you manage complex processes and drive continuous improvement.In this role, you will report directly to the Site Manager at the Netherlands Logistics Centre (NLC) in Tilburg. As Operations Manager, you will oversee all production activities across two key departments:GAS Department - Refilling and distributing CO₂ cylinders (new, refills, and retests)CFC Department - Packaging goods for EU markets according to customer requirementsYou will lead a team of 350-550 employees and work closely with supervisors and engineers to ensure maximum efficiency, capacity utilization, and compliance with safety and quality standards. Your focus will be on tactical operations, driving performance, and supporting SodaStream’s growth.ResponsibilitiesAs Head of NLC Manufacturing Associate Manager, you will lead the tactical operations of our production plant and ensure maximum efficiency, safety, and quality. You will manage large teams and oversee two key departments (GAS and CFC) to achieve operational goals.You will:Ensure a safe working environment and compliance with safety regulations;Lead and develop the production team, fostering strong leadership and collaboration;Take full accountability for production performance, KPIs, and product quality;Organize and implement strategic and tactical work plans to maximize capacity and efficiency;Introduce new equipment and products into production and manage related training;Monitor and improve quality standards, executing checks and ensuring compliance;Prepare and present KPI and budget reports to local and global management.Be a true people manager, building strong relationships and supporting employee growth and engagement;QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you need strong leadership skills, a hands-on mindset, and the ability to manage complex operations in a fast-paced environment. You are a true people manager who can inspire and guide large teams while driving efficiency and quality.You bring:A completed HBO-level education, preferably in technical or operational fields;At least 5 years of experience in a similar leadership role within an international production or logistics environment;Proven experience in managing large teams and building a strong, positive work culture;Solid knowledge of production planning, process optimization, and KPI management;Strong understanding of safety and quality standards in manufacturing;Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills;Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with operational reporting tools;Excellent command of English (spoken and written); Dutch is an advantage.What we offer:Dutch employment contract, starting with a year contract, with the intention to extend to fixed contract.Company bonus scheme.25 vacation days (and the possibility to buy 10 days more/based on your working week).Mobile phone/Laptop.Pension scheme.A free SodaStream device and free-of-charge exchange of CO2 cylinders.SodaStream celebrations & events: Summer & new Years parties, holiday celebrations, etc.A warm, family-like, and international working environment with colleagues from 30 different countries based in our facility in Tilburg.SodaStream is a growing company and there are plenty of opportunities to grow with us.
