Job OverviewTotal Medical Imaging (TMI) is a leading provider of teleradiology services, partnering with outpatient centers and health systems to deliver high-quality, reliable diagnostic imaging solutions. We are seeking an Operations Manager to oversee and optimize our teleradiology workflows, ensuring seamless service delivery and adherence to quality standards. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team and drive impactful improvements in healthcare operations.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational OversightManage and monitor all active teleradiology workflows to ensure timely study transmission, assignment, and reporting. Serve as the primary liaison between radiologists, client imaging centers, and support teams to ensure SLAs and quality benchmarks are consistently met. Oversee case escalation processes and identify root causes of workflow disruptions. Coordinate shift handoffs, coverage schedules, and workload distribution for radiologist teams. Analytics & Continuous ImprovementDevelop and maintain operational dashboards using data from RIS/PACS and analytics tools. Identify trends in turnaround times, case volumes, and report accuracy to drive performance improvements. Produce weekly and monthly performance summaries for leadership and client review. Use data insights to recommend workflow optimizations and automation opportunities that improve efficiency and reduce errors. Quality & ComplianceEnsure all teleradiology workflows adhere to HIPAA, ACR, and client-specific compliance standards. Partner with QA and Credentialing teams to track report accuracy, compliance metrics, and credential expirations. Implement corrective action plans when deviations from policy or performance benchmarks occur. Leadership & CollaborationWork closely with the Radiologist Operations, Client Services, and IT Support teams to ensure a unified, patient-first approach. Train new operations staff and radiologists on workflow protocols, analytics dashboards, and escalation procedures. Serve as the operational point person during system downtimes or upgrades, coordinating between technical and clinical teams. QualificationsRequiredBachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Radiologic Sciences, Data Analytics, or related field. 3–5 years of experience in teleradiology, imaging center operations, or radiology workflow management. Strong working knowledge of RIS/PACS systems, HL7/DICOM workflows, and radiology report lifecycles. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar data analytics tools. Excellent organizational and communication skills with a proactive problem-solving mindset. PreferredPrior experience in a 24/7 healthcare environment with high case volume. Familiarity with scheduling, credentialing, and physician resource management. Experience with data-driven process improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.). Exposure to Radin Health platform or similar teleradiology SaaS environments.
