Position SummaryScholar Career Coaching is seeking an experienced Operations Specialist to oversee day-to-day operations, compliance, grant writing, and fundraising support. This part-time position plays a vital role in ensuring the organization’s systems, partnerships, and special projects run efficiently and align with our mission to empower first-generation and English Language Learner students.Key Responsibilities:Development & Special ProjectsResearch, write, and submit grant proposals, LOIs, and reports on schedule.Maintain a grants calendar and track all deadlines and post-award requirements.Collaborate with staff and board to compile data, budgets, and success stories.Implement and execute an annual fundraising plan to meet revenue goals.Cultivate and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, and funding partners.Monitor funding trends and identify new strategic opportunities.Assist with planning and executing fundraising and awareness events.Support special projects and other tasks as assigned.OperationsServe as the internal point of contact for staff, partners, and community stakeholders.Lead daily operations and coordinate closely with team members.Support program staff in meeting goals and maintaining partner relationships.Oversee contract renewals and cultivate new partnerships.Recruit, train, and support staff, interns, and volunteers as needed.Lead team meetings and promote clear communication.Represent Scholar Career Coaching at community, business, and civic events.QualificationsMinimum 5 years of nonprofit or fundraising experience.Proven success in securing grants and meeting fundraising goals.Management or operations experience strongly preferred.Excellent writing, editing, and research skills.Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities.Familiarity with nonprofit budgeting and online grant platforms.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and virtual collaboration tools.CompensationHourly rate contingent on experience (Part-Time | 1099 Contractor).
