Our mission is to empower young people through storytelling (animation and filmmaking), creativity, and possibility-driven experiences that spark growth, connection, and community.

We are a small but mighty team juggling many moving parts, and we are looking for someone who can help bring clarity, calm, and flow to our daily operations. About YouYou are positive, self-motivated, and solutions-oriented. You don’t wait to be told what to do. You think ahead, anticipate needs, and ask “Would it be helpful if. . . ?” You are highly self-sufficient and do not require constant management. There may be times when you don’t hear from the CEO or leadership team right away.

We will be trusting you to move tasks forward, follow up, and confirm their completion independently. You bring warmth, clarity, and professionalism to your communication and enjoy supporting mission-driven work.

Key ResponsibilitiesBe present and available for weekly virtual partner meetings and biweekly virtual admin meetingsCoordinate scheduling across staff, partners, and teaching artistsOrganize meetings, field trips, and special eventsCommunicate warmly and effectively with parents, site leaders, and partnersPrepare and manage digital registration and program evaluation formsDraft and format monthly e-newsletters (Mailchimp)Track supply check-out lists and help manage equipment orders and deliveriesOrder food and supplies using platforms such as Uber Eats and InstacartPrepare certificates and documentation for youth participantsMaintain and prioritize shared to-do lists for the CEO and admin teamDraft thoughtful, professional emails and internal communicationsHelp research venues, funding opportunities, and potential collaboratorsMaintain organized digital files and foldersGather and upload demographic and class attendance data for weekly, monthly, and quarterly grant reportsFollow up on open items and ensure assigned tasks are completed and documentedTech and Tools You Should Be Comfortable Using (or excited to learn):

Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Calendar)Google Sheets (specifically for data entry, tracking, and grant reporting)Google FormsAirtableSlackMailchimpUber Eats, Instacart, and similar platformsAI tools such as ChatGPT or Notion AI for light research and copywritingAdditional RequirementsFriendly, clear, and professional communication styleStrong time management, follow-through, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and remotely with minimal supervisionMust be LA-based or able to attend occasional in-person meetings, site visits, and eventsBilingual (Spanish and English) strongly desired
