Job Description

The RoleWe are seeking a talented and motivated Full Stack Developer to join our Data Discovery and Removal Automation Team, focusing on building automated workflows and crawlers that support Optery’s core data privacy services. This role is ideal for a highly skilled developer who enjoys working in fast-paced environments and developing innovative solutions. As a Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing automation workflows for data retrieval and processing. You will work alongside experienced engineers, product managers, and leadership to ensure seamless integration with our platform.

Additionally, you will have the opportunity to explore and integrate generative AI technologies to enhance automation workflows, enabling greater scalability and efficiency. This is a fully remote position, based in Latin America (LATAM). ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain, and optimize web crawlers, automation tools, and workflows. Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code in Node. js. Implement and integrate APIs with third-party services. Optimize automation performance to ensure scalability and efficiency. Debug and resolve technical issues related to automation and web scraping. Collaborate with product and engineering teams to understand requirements and propose technical solutions.

Ensure security and compliance best practices are followed when handling user data. Required Qualifications6+ years of experience as a backend or full-stack engineer building web applications. 2+ years of experience with Node. js in a meaningful project. Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture. Experience with web scraping, web crawlers, and automation tools. Knowledge of databases (PostgreSQL, SQL, NoSQL such as Redis, Elasticsearch, MongoDB). Understanding of user data security best practices. Experience working with REST APIs and third-party integrations. Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and front-end development. Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment.

Bonus QualificationsExperience with Puppeteer for web automation and scraping. Experience with generative AI technologies and using them to enhance workflow automation. Familiarity with Python and Django. Familiarity with RabbitMQ, Kafka, or other event brokers. Familiarity with Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, or AzureLocationThis is a remote-first position, based in Latin America (LATAM).
