Optical Simulation Expert

About the Role:We are seeking an Optical Simulation Expert to join our team on a 4–5 month contract. This is a fully remote position based in Tunisia, offered through AYOU For IT Solutions.In this role, you will work on the development and simulation of advanced optical and lighting systems, contributing to innovative solutions in the automotive lighting field. You will collaborate with engineers and technical teams to design, analyze, and validate optical concepts using industry-standard simulation tools.ResponsibilitiesDevelopment and validation of optical conceptsTranslation of optical requirements while considering technological constraintsSimulation of lighting systemsAnalysis of tolerance chainsDerivation of manufacturing requirementsConducting design reviewsPresentation of innovative lighting solutionsRequirementsSuccessfully completed degree in a scientific or technical field, or a comparable qualification, preferably in Physics, Optics, or OptoelectronicsRelevant experience with the optical design and simulation software Zemax, Ansys Speos, LucidShapeRelevant experience with the CAD Software Catia, Siemens NX or similarRelevant experience in the automotive lighting field.Proficient in Matlab, Mathematica, or similar programsFluent English skills, both written and spokenIndependent, structured, and efficient working styleStrong customer orientation, excellent communication skills, assertiveness, and problem-solving competenceMotivation, teamwork skills, flexibility, and a confident professional demeanor
