Our Client: Our client is seeking a (Senior) Cyber Security Manager to join their Berlin team as soon as possible. This role is critical for maintaining and advancing the company’s security posture through effective monitoring, incident management, and strategic security initiatives within their Security Operations Center (SOC). Your Responsibilities:
Monitor IT infrastructure to detect potential security events and ensure the protection of company assetsDevelop and implement security strategies in the SOC, aligning with regulatory and legal standards, industry best practices, and company goalsManage security incidents, drive improvement actions, conduct lessons-learned sessions, and communicate with internal and external stakeholdersLead special projects and additional tasks as neededYour Profile:
Degree or vocational training in IT, Information Security, or a comparable fieldPractical SOC experience, preferably with a Blue Team focus (system hardening, log analysis, threat defense)Strong knowledge of SIEM technologies, especially SplunkUnderstanding of incident handling, threat intelligence, and malware analysisExperience with Windows/Linux systems, networking, and basic cryptography knowledge is a plusScripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and ISMS experience desirableAnalytical mindset, proactive approach, and strong communication skillsFluent in German and English (written and spoken)By applying to this position, you consent to the processing of your personal data in accordance with our privacy policy.
