Position: Sales Director, Healthcare & Life Sciences – South KoreaPOSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for developing and executing Oracle Health Sciences Global Business Unit (HSGBU) business strategy and plan for revenue and growth in South Korea, in close coordination with the country and Asia Pacific teams. Responsible for Sales of Oracle HSGBU’s Life Sciences & Healthcare Solutions and Services across Clinical Data Management, Clinical Operations, Safety & Pharmacovigilance, Health Information Exchange and Healthcare Analytics. Responsible for establishing the Health Sciences infrastructure for revenue growth in South Korea, working closely with HSGBU Sales Consulting, Services, Marketing & Alliances teams. KEY RESULT AREAS:
Understanding of the Market/Industry and opportunity for Oracle’s solutions in identified market segments in the defined territoryDeveloping & executing sales strategies based on the Territory PlanForecasting, Pipeline management & Managing the “Lead to Reference cycle”Articulate Oracle’s message and build relationships with key client executives to determine their needs, business issues & establish Oracle’s Value propositionWhere-ever applicable, work with Partners to generate and mature the pipeParticipate in Industry Forums, Seminars and events to evangelize Oracle and generate leadsIdentify PR initiatives and work with customer, partner and internal teams to create customer wins and “go-live” case studies.

Minimum 15+ years experience in the IT Industry/Software Solutions & ServicesBusiness Applications and Solution sales experienceUnderstanding of Sales methodologies & processesLife Sciences & Healthcare Industry knowledgeUnderstanding of Market, Partner and customer needsMinimum of Bachelor’s degreeKnowledge of Oracle and competitive solutions.
