Job Description

Job Role: Ensure that internal audits are conducted to comply with executive orders of the company, and international and local internal auditing standard, this includes attending meetings with auditees to develop an understanding of business processes. Conducting interviews and meetings explaining audit objectives, scope, and methodsDeveloping testing methodologies to evaluate the adequacy of controlsConducts assigned audit engagements successfully from beginning to end which includes assist in evaluating overall results of the engagements.

Assist in Identifying activities, resources and staff required for each engagement coverage, evaluate their significance and assess the degree of risk inherent in the activity in terms of cost, schedule and quality to enhance risk management and improve internal control systems. Provide a comprehensive and practical schedule of annual engagement coverage within general areas assigned by the Internal Audit department. Determine areas of risk and appraise their significance in relation to operational factors of cost, schedule, and quality. Classify engagement projects as to degree of risk and significance and as to frequency of coverage.

Apply professional standards are maintained in the planning & execution and in the accumulation of informationIdentify factors causing deficient conditions and recommend courses of action to improve the conditions including special surveys and audits. Review the formal oral or written communications to management during and at the conclusion of the engagement, discussing observations and recommending corrective action to improve operations and reduce cost. Provide for a flow of communication from operating management to the Internal Audit management. Assist in appraising subordinate's performance in coordination with internal Audit Director. Job Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is a must.

Professional certification preferred, such as Project Management Professional (PMP)Minimum of 5–7 years of relevant experience in a similar fieldProficient in English (both written and spoken)Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office applications
