Now Hiring: Orthopedic Clinical Specialist: Castle Medical (Independent Distributor for Enovis) Location: Rochester, MNCastle Medical, an independent distributor of Enovis orthopedic implants and medical devices, is recruiting for a Clinical Specialist in the Rochester, MN area.This role is a perfect fit for a Physical Therapist, Athletic Trainer, or other clinician looking to transition their deep orthopedic knowledge into a dynamic, new career path. A personable, proactive, and mechanically inclined candidate will excel in this position.Key ResponsibilitiesThe Orthopedic Clinical Specialist provides critical clinical, sales, and customer support within hospital operating rooms (OR) during medical procedures. This role is responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer service, sales logistics, and technical expertise.Provide technical and clinical support in the operating room, using expert product knowledge to present, demonstrate, and ensure the proper utilization of products.Assist the sales team in supporting and retaining current customers and converting new customers.Manage case logistics by attending surgeries, coordinating equipment, and ensuring proper instrumentation and inventory are available and performing.Support OR and Sterile Processing staff through consultation and problem-solving to optimize procedural trays and processes.Handle customer requests, troubleshoot technical issues, and effectively manage hospital billing and purchase orders.Maintain, track, and deploy inventory and assets throughout the assigned territory.Focus on customer satisfaction and retention by converting customer insights into tangible solutions.Required Qualifications & Position RequirementsA minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university/college.OR: An Associate's degree plus three (3) years of relevant experience in clinical, hospital, surgical, or related environments.OR: Certification as a Physical Therapist, Athletic Trainer, Certified Surgical Technician, or highly specialized medical training (e.g., Medical Sales College) plus three (3) years of relevant experience.Strong interpersonal communication, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.Must have a valid U.S. driver's license and the ability to travel daily within the territory.Must have the ability to work in an operating room environment (e.g., stand for long periods, wear scrubs).Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the posted territory.Availability for very limited weekend work and/or overnight travel is required.Preferred QualificationsTwo (2) or more years of previous experience in one of the following: healthcare sales, hospital/Operating Room support, or clinical experience in orthopedics.Castle Medical is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to sex, race, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information, national origin, or disability status.
