Our client, a leading Sydney public sector department, has a requirement for an experienced Project Manager to oversee a varied book of projects. The works will focus on compliance upgrades to residential capital throughout the region. The contract will commence as soon as possible and continue until 31/12/25, with the possibility of further extensions. The hourly rate for this position will be $75. 54 per hour. Key accountabilities• Lead the scoping, design, briefing, resourcing, implementation and coordination of programs of work with the project team to deliver effective business outcomes and meet client service delivery needs.
• Establish the approaches, systems, processes and practices for project reports and documentation• Lead and identify needs for research and provide project-driven direction and support for auditing policies, plans and procedures• Manage and oversee all aspects of projects including budgets and timelines of projects from $100k to over $3M• Tender management• Monitor project performance and implement risk mitigation strategies• Lead and manage complaint resolution• Manage conflicting priorities to ensure project milestones are achieved within target timeframes. • Enable effective planning activitiesThe successful applicant will require:
-Previous experience in residential capital and compliance upgrade projects-Demonstrated skills from residential client and or contractor side and a knowledge of statutory compliance and building regulations-A formal qualification in Engineering, Architecture, Construction, Project Management, Business Management or similar-A current White Card and Drivers License and ability to travel within NSW if required.
