This includes both daily school transfers and vacation care excursions.Key Responsibilities IncludeSafely transport children from OSHC centres to neighbouring schools before school care, and return the vehicle to the centreCollect children from schools and transport them to OSHC centres for after school care, ensuring timely and secure travelDrive children to and from excursion destinations during NSW public school holidays as part of vacation care programsConduct thorough pre-drive and post-drive vehicle safety checksProvide exceptional customer service through friendly, respectful, and supportive interactions with children, families, and staff.EssentialQualifications and experienceNew South Wales (NSW) Light Rigid (LR) licence to drive motor vehicles with a gross vehicle mass (GVM) of between 4,500 to 8,000 kilogramsNSW C class driving licenceSolid experience driving with a LR licenceEvidence of a good driving record (Service NSW)Working with Children Check (WWCC).DesirableFirst aid certificationDemonstrated commitment to customer serviceAbility to work within a team environment.Remuneration And BenefitsThe salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Council’s Enterprise Agreement.Entry level for this position starts at $29.7584 per hour, plus 25% casual loading Casual hoursEmployee benefits such as leave entitlements (where applicable), 12% employer contribution payable to your nominated superannuation fund, Fitness Passport, gym membership discounts, and social clubs.This position has been identified as child related work, in accordance with the Child Protection (Working with Children) Regulation 2013.
