York Hospital Ltd. is looking for OT AssistantKey PointsThe OT Assistant supports the surgical team by maintaining a clean, safe, and organized operating environment. The role includes assisting nurses and surgeons during procedures, preparing instruments and materials, and ensuring infection control protocols are strictly followed.Job Description / ResponsibilityAssist in all types of surgeries under the supervision of surgeons and surgery team.Prepare and arrange surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies before each procedure.Assist in positioning and preparing patients for surgery under the direction of nursing staff.Maintain cleanliness and sterility of the operation theatre before, during, and after surgery.Support nurses and doctors by handing instruments, sutures, and supplies as needed.Ensure proper disposal of waste materials as per infection control guidelines.Transport patients to and from the operation theatre safely.Check and restock supplies, linen, and sterile items daily.Assist in cleaning and sterilizing surgical instruments and equipment.Report any malfunction or shortage of equipment and materials to the OT In-Charge promptly.Capable of operating and maintain the C-arm and laparoscopy machineMaintain confidentiality and uphold hospital policies and professional standards.Educational RequirementsDiploma in MedicalCertified OT Assistant course preferredMATS in Operation Theatre Technology (OTT)Skills Required: Operation Theatre staffExperience RequirementsAt least 3 year(s)The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):HospitalJob LocationDhaka (Banani)
