Team members are expected not only to have skills to analyse data and surface takeaways, but will also participate in cross-functional decision-making processes. As an OTC Captive Accounting intern, you will be responsible for daily accounting transactions such as maintaining customer balances, reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and also to assist in financial analysis and enhance our financial and KPI reporting. You will work with an international team of analysts and accountants, who will involve you in topics which will enhance your skills and help you understand how the company operates on a larger scale.What You'll DoFollow the Order to Cash procedures and practices focusing on the Leasing productsUnderstanding of lease accounting and revenue recognitionProvide daily support in the fields of month-end close, variance analysis and auditPerform Accounts Receivables analysisIdentify and analyse the root causes of outstanding aged Accounts Receivables itemsPrepare Balance Sheet controls and reconciliationsAssist in external audit requestsInvolvement in projects with cross-functional teams to drive process efficiencies and systems improvementsGain knowledge in Microsoft Dynamics AXOptimize and automate financial reporting through tools like Excel and PowerBIWhat You'll BringPursuing a degree in Accounting or related areaModeling Skills (e.g. Microsoft Office Excel; experience with Microsoft PowerQuery/Power BI and/or SQL is a plus)Ability to work independently, detail-oriented, and execution focusedAnalytical mindset and problem-solving orientedHighly collaborative and team-playerStrong verbal, written and presentation skills, Tesla
