The Outpatient and Inpatient Approval Coders will be responsible for reviewing and translating medical documentation into accurate coding for insurance and billing purposes. Key daily tasks include ensuring compliance with medical coding guidelines, verifying the accuracy of codes, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to clarify documentation. Coders will also assist in facilitating approvals and managing patient records efficiently.QualificationsComprehensive knowledge and application of Medical Coding and Medical TerminologyExperience in Health Information Management and proficiency in CodingCPC certification or equivalent, showcasing expertise in medical coding best practicesAttention to detail, strong analytical skills, and problem-solving abilitiesFamiliarity with healthcare regulations and proficiency in coding software toolsProficiency in English communication; Arabic language skills are an advantageRelevant certification or diploma in medical coding or a related healthcare field
