It’s a mission that takes commitment, but as an industry leader we aim for nothing but excellence in everything we do.We are looking for a motivated and focused individual to join our team as our Outbound Planner.The role will report into the Order Desk Manager and will be based from our offices in Spartan, Kempton Park.Purpose of the role:Responsible for the processing of Capital Sales and After Market Screening Solutions orders, Internal Workflow and the interface with Sales Areas.The job responsibilities:Order ProcessingDaily Processing of all sales area purchase ordersDaily publishing of orders to the relevant operations according to Order Type.Daily processing of Purchase Requisitions for Buy-out ItemsDaily Processing of Job files for Aftermarket Manufactured ItemsReporting item code related issues to the Product DevelopmentReporting stock related issues to the Inventory teamExecute the cancellation of orders based on customer requestsWorking with Inventory, Purchasing, Warehouse and Freight teams to source, arrange and despatch itemsResolve order issues like incorrect address, shipping instructions, incotermsBackorder ManagementDaily review and resolution of outstanding orders in Manufacturing, Production, Warehouse and Invoicing.Daily reviewing and expediting of Unit Down Orders and Urgently Requested Orders.Weekly review of Incomplete orders in the warehouse and follow up with the responsible department for completion.Weekly communication to Sales Areas on progress of all open orders.Processing of Returns and Initiating requests for credits.Regular updates to Sales Area on progress of all open orders as per agreed timelines.Proactively resolves sales order issues related to invoicing.EHS ResponsibilitiesComply with Rock Processing SHEQ management system Live the Sandvik EHS Culture. Qualifications & Experience RequirementsCompleted Grade 12Diploma / Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management or related field2 - 4 years’ experience in Customer Service in a Warehousing /Distribution /Supply Chain environment.Experience in managing internal and/or external customer accountsOther Requirements & CompetenciesProven ability to work efficiently within a Supply Chain environment and complete duties in an autonomous mannerProven ability to effectively communicate, liaise and negotiate with a range of stakeholdersCommitment to excellence and timeliness in internal client servicePositive attitude and willingness to learnStrong focus on business and process execution/improvement.Good working knowledge of International Trade and Freight processesPrior Syspro working experience is beneficial.Proficient in Microsoft Office ExcelExposure to Environmental Health and Safety systemsExcellent written and oral communication skillsAbility to adapt to changeLateral thinker and problem solverWhat is in it for you?We offer you an interesting role in an international business environment, extraordinary products, great colleagues, and opportunities for your professional development.
