This is a full time position.A successful candidate will be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.Success as an Outside Sales Representative is being able to achieve the following expectations:Create and achieve an annual budget for the identified market (DEVELOP / MAINTAIN / GROW)This is the sales goal/commitment to Commercial Van Interior for your respective locationAchieve revenue goals for a specified percentage of market opportunitySolicit orders from qualified commercial dealers for upfitted vans and chassis through our OEM supported bailment poolSolicit orders for upfitted vans and chassis from dealers’ inventoryCollaborate with the inside sales team to deliver a one-team approach for the customer experience before, during and after the saleWork with Sales Manager to ensure customer solution proposed is suitable for BOTH the customer and CTV - responsible for building a mutually beneficial partnershipPartner with strategic partners to perform joint consultations and create solutions with customers in the market, as opportunities become availableThe Key Behaviors/skills Required For This Role AreAbility to HUNT and FARM simultaneouslStrong hunter (GROW)Effective farmer (MAINTAIN + DEVELOP)Attitude and teamworkStrong knowledge of basic van interiors and ladder racksKnowledge of cab chassis body applicationsKnowledge of all bodies and equipment including brand name available for purchase from CTVResults-oriented. Exceeds goals and pushes self and teamStrong listening skillsEmpathy for the customerStrong problem-solving skillsStrong communication skills (all forms)Ability to deal with conflict effectivelyEducation Required For This RoleBachelor’s Degree preferred; company will consider a combination of education and experienceStrong Office Knowledge and Calendar SkillsAdditional RequirementsMust meet and maintain all requirements to be a “Driver” as defined in Adrian Steel Fleet Corporate Driving PolicyValid driver’s licenseAcceptable driving record (Adrian Steel authorized)
