Job Overview:We are looking for an experienced Overseas Admission Manager to join our team at upGrad Abroad. In this role, you will manage the admission process for Indian students aspiring to study abroad. You will collaborate closely with universities and educational institutions across various countries to facilitate admissions, counsel students, and ensure compliance with visa requirements. This senior-level position requires 4 to 8 years of relevant experience.Key Responsibilities:As the Overseas Admission Manager, you will lead a team of 8–10 coaches or country counselors, ensuring monthly and annual targets are achieved. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with visa requirements, assisting students with their visa applications, and coordinating with the admissions team to review and evaluate student applications. The role also involves building and maintaining strong relationships with universities and educational institutions across multiple countries, staying updated on changes in education policies, immigration regulations, and market trends, and providing prompt support to address student concerns. Additionally, you will ensure accurate record-keeping and documentation related to admissions and student interactions.Qualifications and Skills:The ideal candidate should have proven experience in international recruitment and student counseling, with in-depth knowledge of major study-abroad destinations. A solid understanding of visa procedures, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a proactive, hustler attitude are essential. Strong organizational, multitasking, and record management skills are also required.Expectations:This is a six-day working role. Candidates must have a minimum of 3+ years of experience in the study abroad domain and 5+ years of overall professional experience. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of achieving a minimum of 40 visas per counselor annually, and 320–400 visas at the manager level, managing a team of 8–10 country counselors.
