You will play a key role in ensuring our business complies with applicable regulations related to anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing (AML/CFT), with a particular focus on client onboarding, risk classification, and follow-up of both clients and advisors.You will be part of a team of three people working broadly with oversight of both our funds and their administrator, as well as our direct clients. You thrive in a role with personal responsibility, where your ideas and initiatives are encouraged, and you are comfortable working in a structured way and driving your own projects.The team works closely with internal functions such as Trading, Risk, and Compliance, with daily collaboration through check-ins, joint initiatives, and internal reporting.The role is expected to evolve in line with increasing regulatory demands and involves close cooperation with our internal Compliance function.ResponsibilitiesOversight of onboarding processes for direct clients and advisory clients in accordance with AML/CFT regulations.Risk classification of clients and follow-up of high-risk clients.Follow-up of PEP and sanctions screening.Transaction monitoring and handling of alerts in the system.Follow-up of investment advisory documentation.Control of tied agents’ adherence to established procedures, including site visits and contact with tied agents.Close collaboration with the internal Compliance function.Qualifications University or equivalent degree in relevant field of study or through work experienceMinimum 2–3 years of experience in similar areas of responsibility.Experience with systems such as BFS (Backoffice), Metafore (advisory portal), and Trapets is considered a plus.Fluency in both written and spoken Swedish and English, additional languages are considered a meritKnowledge about and experience from KYC and AMLExperience from work in private banking and securities company is plus What We OfferAt East Capital Group we strongly believe in inclusivity, fairness, and diversity where everyone can thrive.
