This position is based in Witterswil, Solothurn (Basel Area), Switzerland, with excellent public transport access (Tram 10) and free on-site parking. What is the role?As a Production Technician, you will be assigned flexibly to all the production entities in the new factory and will operate, prepare, troubleshoot and clean the plants on your own.

Flexible and independent processing of production orders according to production scheduleCleaning, setting up, and operating machinery and equipment in line with manufacturing documentation and quality standardsHandling water and chemicals, using mechanical tools, electromechanical systems, process analyzers, and automation controlsPerforming stock counts and inventory checksIdentifying and reporting potential issues proactivelyParticipating in daily shop floor meetingsContributing to the continuous improvement of production processesDoes this sound like you?A background in chemical production or a related technical field3-5 years of experience in a production environmentStrong technical understanding and practical experience such as installation on hydraulic facilitiesAnalytical prowess to leverage data and available resources to resolve key issues that arise every single day in the workshopAccurate and reliable working styleSelf-initiative and creativity, flexible and able to work under pressureA good team-oriented working attitude with excellent communication skills.
