Oxbridge has recently announced its strategic business review, including review of potential financing transactions to support a digital reserve asset initiative.  This initiative contemplates the active investment and management of a portfolio of digital reserve assets, applying world-class risk management, cutting-edge trading systems, and multi-strategy investment execution.

We are seeking a battle-tested investment leader with a proven track record in both TradFi and Blockchain who can execute an active trading strategy at scale. This individual will be directly responsible for the investment and management of a significant amount in capital, ensuring disciplined deployment, strategic allocation, and consistent high-quality returns. Role OverviewThe Chief Investment Officer will define and execute Oxbridge’s end-to-end investment strategy, blending institutional trading discipline with digital asset innovation. This leader will establish the overall investment framework, working closely with globally renowned partners and asset managers—including exchanges, custodians, and OTC desks.

The CIO will be responsible for building and executing strategies that outperform a passive buy-and-hold approach, implement robust downside protections, and deliver consistent, measurable revenue and profitability on a quarterly basis. In addition, the CIO will oversee both systematic and discretionary strategies, maintain strong counterparty relationships, and ensure compliance across global regulatory jurisdictions.

Key ResponsibilitiesInvestment Strategy & Alpha Generation·       Design, implement, and oversee multi-asset strategies spanning spot, derivatives, DeFi protocols, and yield products·       Identify and execute high-conviction trades across on-chain and off-chain markets·       Leverage market intelligence, quantitative models, and discretionary insight to generate consistent risk-adjusted returnsPortfolio & Risk Management·       Direct the allocation, deployment, and oversight of a significant amount digital assets·       Build and manage a portfolio with disciplined, strategy-driven capital allocation·       Implement real-time risk controls across counterparty, liquidity, market, and operational risk·       Oversee systematic trading infrastructure for execution, monitoring, and reportingInstitutional & Ecosystem Relationships·       Negotiate with exchanges, custodians, OTC desks, and blockchain foundations for advantageous access and terms·       Engage with Tier-1 counterparties, liquidity providers, and institutional investors to source capital and deal flow·       Represent Oxbridge in high-level industry events, investor roadshows, and strategic partnershipsTeam Leadership & Infrastructure·       Build and lead a high-performance investment desk with analysts, quants, and traders·       Oversee integration of trading technology, market data feeds, and blockchain analytics tools·       Establish governance processes ensuring transparency, compliance, and audit readinessIdeal Candidate ProfileRequired Background·       10+ years in investment banking, hedge funds, proprietary trading, or asset management, with P&L ownership·       3–5 years direct digital asset market experience, including portfolio management, systematic trading, or DeFi strategies·       Deep derivatives expertise including futures, options, OTC swaps, and structured products·       Proven track record in generating alpha in volatile and illiquid marketsCore Competencies·       Mastery of cross-asset trading, market microstructure, and blockchain liquidity dynamics·       Hands-on experience with systematic and discretionary strategies·       Advanced understanding of tokenomics, staking, yield farming, wrappers, and RWA tokenization·       Strong network in both TradFi and Web3 ecosystems·       Familiarity with regulatory regimes including Reg D, Reg S, MiCA, and institutional custody solutionsPreferred Education & Credentials·       Advanced degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Applied Math, or related field (MFE, MSc, MBA, or PhD preferred)·       Professional certifications such as CFA, CAIA, or CQF highly valuedWhat We Offer• Competitive base salary range of US $200k to $275k plus performance-based cash bonus• Stock-based compensation, medical coverage, competitive pension plan, professional fees reimbursements, PTO, relocation allowance and other benefits designed to support a work-life balance.
