The Junior Database Administrator implements, maintains, and ensures the security of complex databases. Minimum/General Experience: 3 years of experience with the installation, maintenance, and administration of relational database management system (RDBMS)Minimum Education: Bachelors degree in computer science, electronics, engineering or related fieldEssential Skills/QualificationsExperience implementing and maintaining relational database management systems (RDBMS) (e. g.

, PostgreSQL, Redshift)Experience with the cloud-native database solution Amazon Web Services (AWS)Experience supporting a complex build systemAbility to design and develop complex Structured Query Language (SQL) queries and reports to retrieve required dataExperience analyzing and tuning queries to improve performanceKnowledge and understanding of the agile methodologyKnowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)Ability to support an on-call rotationExcellent oral and written communication skillsExperience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (e. g. , Terraform, Crossplane) (preferred)Experience using Tableau (preferred)Experience with source control tools (e. g.

The annual projected pay range for this position is $63,571. 91 - $90,465. 00 with consideration being given to various factors including but not limited to qualifications, experience, job responsibilities, and geographic location.
