TECHNICAL SALES REPRESENTATIVEJOB DESCRIPTIONLocation: Accra Industry: Chemical ManufacturingReports to: Managing Director Our client is a multinational chemical manufacturing firm, renowned for its high-quality paint products and innovative solutions, serving the construction and building industries across Ghana and beyond. Scope The Technical Sales Representative will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance during project specifications, researching and identifying large-scale projects, and offering expert advice on paint products and applications. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, corporate clients, real estate developers, and contractors.

Conduct regular visits to clients and potential clients to assess their needs and provide tailored solutions. Offer expert advice on paint products, applications, and solutions to building issues. Provide on-site technical support and guidance during project specifications and implementation. Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to pitch products and services to prospective clients. Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling presentations and sales materials. Research and identify large-scale projects and construction opportunities within the region. Establish connections with key stakeholders to facilitate project discussions and negotiations.

Monitor industry trends, competitors, and market dynamics to inform sales strategies and product offerings. Provide feedback to the product development team regarding customer needs and market demands. Prepare and maintain accurate reports on sales activities, client interactions, and project progress. Document technical specifications and solutions provided to clients Conduct training sessions for clients and internal staff on product usage and application techniques. Stay updated on new product developments and industry standards to provide the best possible service. Work closely with the sales team and other departments to align strategies and goals.

Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to promote company offerings. Requirements Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Building & Construction, Building Technology, or any related field. Minimum of 4 years work experience in building projects & site management or related experience in construction and material sales. Good project management skills Strong business development and negotiation skills Must be self-motivated and work with no supervision Strong problem solving and analytical skills Strong customer service and listening skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and time-management skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) CompetenciesCritical Thinker, Persuasive, Detail-Oriented, Analytical, Problem-Solving.
