Job Description

OverviewPM Group are looking for a Package Lead - Mechanical to work on a Pharma Labs and Offices retro fit project. The role will be based near Schaffhausen in SwitzerlandResponsibilitiesLead mechanical construction package for pharma laboratory and office retrofit, including HVAC, clean utilities, and process systems installationInterface with design consultants and engineers to resolve mechanical design issues, review submittals, and ensure constructability of systemsSupervise mechanical contractors and subcontractors, ensure compliance with specifications, quality standards, and pharmaceutical industry requirementsCoordinate mechanical system tie-ins with existing facility infrastructure while maintaining operational continuity and contamination controlImplement inspection procedures for mechanical installations, witness testing, and ensure systems meet design performance criteriaDevelop mechanical package schedules, coordinate with other trades, and manage critical path activities for timely project deliveryPrepare mechanical systems for commissioning activities, coordinate with commissioning agents, and support startup proceduresMaintain as-built documentation, equipment data, test records, and coordinate turnover packages for mechanical systemsQualificationsMinimum 8-10 years mechanical construction experience with 5+ years in pharma, biotech, or regulated industriesComprehensive knowledge of pharma HVAC systems, clean utilities, compressed air, and laboratory exhaust systemsProven experience leading mechanical packages on complex construction projects with multiple stakeholdersUnderstanding of pharma mechanical system requirements, cGMP standards, and clean room construction practicesBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical disciplineCandidates must have : Right to work in Europe English Language Skills - German highly desireableWhy PM Group?As an employee-owned company, we are inclusive, committed and driven.
