Product Packaging Designer with 3D Rendering Skills Job Title: Product Packaging Designer (with 3D Visualization Expertise)Shift: Night ShiftLocation: Siphal,Kathmandu (On-Site)Job Summary:We're looking for a highly creative and detail-oriented Product Packaging Designer with strong 3D rendering and visualization skills. This role is responsible for the end-to-end design of product packaging, from initial structural concepts to final print-ready graphics. The designer will ensure that packaging is aesthetically compelling, structurally sound, cost-effective, and fully aligned with brand strategy and production capabilities. A key function of this role is using 3D software to create photorealistic mockups and marketing assets, significantly streamlining the design and approval process. Key Responsibilities Design & Visualization Concept Development: Generate innovative and effective packaging concepts, including structural design (dielines, carton styles, inserts) and graphic design (visual identity, color palettes, typography).3D Modeling & Rendering: Utilize 3D software (e.g., Esko Studio, Adobe Dimension, Cinema 4D, or Blender) to model packaging structures and create photorealistic 3D renders for internal review, stakeholder approval, and e-commerce marketing.Prototyping: Create physical and digital prototypes to test the functionality, durability, and visual impact of the packaging.Asset Creation: Produce high-quality 3D assets, including packshots, lifestyle renders, and interactive 360-degree views, for marketing and online sales channels. Production & Technical Technical Drawing: Develop accurate dielines and mechanical files using vector programs (e.g., Adobe Illustrator) that adhere to strict printer and manufacturer specifications.Print Production: Prepare and pre-flight final artwork for various printing processes (e.g., offset, flexography, digital) across a range of materials (e.g., corrugated board, plastics, glass).Material Selection: Select appropriate materials, coatings, and finishing techniques (e.g., embossing, foil stamping, spot UV) to achieve the desired look, feel, and sustainability goals while remaining within budget.Quality Control: Ensure all packaging meets regulatory requirements, structural integrity standards, and brand guidelines. Collaboration & Strategy Cross-Functional Teamwork: Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product Development, Engineering, and external vendors (printers, packaging manufacturers) to integrate design with product launch timelines and budget constraints.Presentation: Effectively present and articulate design concepts and rationale to internal teams and management, often utilizing the 3D renders to clearly communicate the final vision.Research: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, material innovations, sustainable packaging solutions, and competitor packaging.Required Skills and QualificationsEducation & Experience Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Packaging Engineering, or a related field.1.5 years of professional experience in product packaging design.A strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in both graphic and structural packaging design.Technical Skills Expert proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator (for dielines and mechanicals) and Photoshop (for retouching and mockup creation).Strong proficiency in 3D modeling and rendering software (e.g., Esko Studio, Adobe Dimension, Substance 3D Suite, or equivalent).Familiarity with packaging production processes, printing techniques, and material science.Knowledge of CAD software (e.g., ArtiosCAD or SolidWorks) is a plus. Soft Skills Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, especially in technical file preparation.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Ability to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.Creative problem-solver with a strong aesthetic sense and understanding of visual hierarchy. Why Join Our Night Shift Team?Focus: Work in a calm, distraction-free environment ideal for precision and detail.Balance: Enjoy daytime freedom for personal commitments, family, or further studies.Growth: Be part of a global team with clear pathways for learning and advancement.Join Our Global TeamIf you’re ready to take your accounting career to the next level in a supportive, globally connected organization — we’d love to meet you.📩 Apply Now: hr@nepa.works
