We are recruiting for a Finance Manager to oversee the financial functions of a leading company in the South Pacific Region. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accurate recording of financial transactions, compliance with statutory and corporate policies, and protection of company assets. Key responsibilities will include financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, payroll, and administration. Additionally, the role will involve maintaining internal controls, managing external relationships, and ensuring adherence to governance and compliance standards.

Ensure accurate accounting for financial transactions and compliance with company policiesReport financial performance weekly, monthly, and annually to meet group requirementsManage payroll and personnel administration proceduresCoordinate preparation of strategic plans, budgets, and forecastsMonitor and manage cash flow for the businessOversee internal control procedures, including fraud prevention measuresEnsure balance sheet reconciliations and accurate financial reportsImplement expense controls and maintain a Fixed Assets RegisterMinimize foreign exchange risk in line with company policyManage accounts receivable and ensure adherence to credit policiesCoordinate and submit periodic tax and duty payments to government authoritiesBuild and maintain relationships with major customers, banks, and other business partnersPrepare and submit monthly, annual, and ad-hoc financial reportsAssist in preparation for statutory audits and ensure timely submission of tax returnsLead and support the Finance team, setting annual targets and providing trainingEnsure compliance with corporate policies and regulationsPreferred applicants will have:
Degree qualification in financial accountingMinimum of 10 years accounting experience, and 5 years in a senior finance role. Familiar with requirement of a large and/or multinational organisation.
