This role is pivotal in bridging global’s manufacturing and technology capabilities with Africa’s growth opportunities, ensuring seamless collaboration within company’s integrated ecosystems. Strategic FocusCore Objective: Identify and engage companies (e. g. , advanced manufacturers, renewable energy firms, tech innovators) seeking Cameroonian market entry.
Facilitate their investment and operational integration into the company’s Cameroonian industrial parks, leveraging company’s infrastructure, local networks, and regulatory support. Value Proposition: Provide clients with turnkey solutions: site selection, tax incentives negotiation, workforce training, and supply chain setup within company’s parks. Enable access to Congolese market via company’s partnerships with governments, logistics hubs, and regional trade blocs. _____________________________________________________________________________________Key Responsibilities1. African-Based Client Sourcing & Strategy: Conduct targeted research on African industries with high African export potential (e. g. , EV components, agro-processing equipment, solar tech).
Build a pipeline of SMEs and corporates seeking cost-competitive production bases or raw material access in Africa. Design tailored market entry strategies, emphasizing the company’s park advantages (e. g. , tax breaks, pre-built factories, one-stop compliance support). 2. Africa Investment Facilitation: Lead negotiations with African clients to structure investments (e. g. , greenfield projects, JVs with local partners) within company’s Cameroonian park. Collaborate with the company’s Cameroonian teams to align client needs with park resources (e. g. , energy supply, logistics corridors). Oversee end-to-end project execution:
from MOUs to operational launch, ensuring alignment with client ROI targets and the company’s standards. 3. Ecosystem Integration & Partnership: Building Foster collaboration between investors and the company’s African park tenants (e. g. , raw material suppliers, distribution networks). Organize roadshows and matchmaking events to connect African firms with Cameroonian government, chamber of commerce, and industry clusters. Utilize the company’s digital twin platform (for park infrastructure visualization) and AI-driven risk assessment tools to enhance client decision-making. 4. Cross-Continent Operational Support: Coordinate with the company’s legal and compliance teams to navigate cross-border regulations (e. g.
, ODI approvals, African local content rules). Monitor post-investment performance of clients in Cameroonian parks, providing strategic adjustments to optimize productivity. Develop case studies and success metrics to attract follow-on investments and replicate models across the company’s global networks. ___________________________________________________________________________________Required Experience & Skills Deal Execution: 12+ years in investment banking, private equity, M&A or outbound FDI advisory, cross-border manufacturing, or Africa-focused business development.
