The Clinical Dietitian provides nutrition counseling services to patients. Responsible for assessing patients’ nutritional needs, developing nutrition plans, and educating patients about kidney friendly diets with special needs of chronic co-morbidities. Collaborates with the clinical care team to ensure optimal patient care. Duties And ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement nutrition plans for patients in accordance with their individual needs and health conditions!Monitor and assess patients’ nutritional status and progress. Educate patients on the principles of nutrition and healthy eating habits. Develop nutrition education materials. Provide individual and group nutritional education sessions.
Collaborate with the RNA clinical team to ensure quality patient care. Support the orientation of newly hired staff to RNA. Stay informed of the newest developments in nutrition. Ensure compliance with regulations for all billing of services. Attend all staff meetings and completes all required validations as outlined. Maintain all current licensures and certifications. Perform other duties and responsibilities as required, assigned, or requested.
