The company fosters a collaborative, creative, and challenging work culture where employees are valued as partners.Role DescriptionParalegals work under an attorney’s supervision, and their work becomes part of the attorney’s client work product. They must clarify their non-lawyer status and cannot give legal advice or perform duties reserved for licensed attorneys.Preparing affidavits, legal correspondence, and other documents for attorneys.Organizing and maintaining documents in a paper or electronic filing system.Meeting with clients, attorneys, and other professionals to discuss case details.Filing pleadings with the court clerk.Helping prepare for trial by organizing exhibits and assisting with other tasks as needed.Preparing briefs, wills, contracts, real estate closing statements, pleadings, appeals, and other legal documents.Investigating facts and laws of cases and searching public records and other resources to prepare cases and determine causes of action.Directing and coordinating law office activity, including the delivery of subpoenas.Gathering and analyzing statutes, decisions, legal articles, codes, documents, and other data.Calling on witnesses to testify at hearings.Keeping the law library up to date by monitoring legal volumes.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Political Science, Legal Management, Forensic Science, or any related pre-law course; Juris Doctor graduates are also welcome to apply.Background in document processing, administrative tasks, or law firm work is an advantage.Strong communication skills; highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable.Willing to work on-site in Upper McKinley Hill, BGC, Taguig.Be available to start immediately.
