Your new role This is a rare and exciting opportunity for an exceptional Paralegal to join its small and high-performing in-house team on a 6-month fixed-term contract and fulltime basis. Supporting a team of senior lawyers, you will provide support on an interesting mix of work which will include:assisting in the drafting, review and formatting of commercial contracts and supporting procurement processes;managing contract execution processes and maintaining contract management registers;assisting with compliance tracking and assisting with policy and procedure registers;driving process improvement changes, including contributing to the development of legal templates and standard operating procedures, identifying and implementing opportunities to streamline processes and exploring AI capabilities to enhance legal operations;conducting legal research.What you'll need to succeed You will have previous paralegal experience in the above areas, ideally gained within a similar in-house commercial or corporate setting. Additional experience within the Victorian public sector will also be highly regarded. Importantly, you will be passionate about legal operations and process improvements in order to drive innovation through technology and support good governance practices. You will also have strong stakeholder management and partnering skills, a proactive and solutions-focused approach and a keenness to learn in order to add value to stakeholders quickly.
