Job Description

Reporting to the Director of Marketing Communications and working hand-in-hand with the Marketing Communications team, you will be responsible for elevating the hotel’s sustainable hospitality brand in inspiring ways to excellent standards. We are looking for a natural storyteller with excellent copywriting skills, where writing is your natural flair; one who has proven to create captivating content for brands with business impact. Public Relations, Media Management and Media Monitoring – Develop compelling press releases from scratch to pitch the hotel’s offerings and prepare media responses.

Content would include hotel’s F&B offerings, festive, hotel-wide updates, sustainability and corporate communications. Invite media and influencers to the hotel, maintain media relations, manage media databases, support on crisis communications. Consistently track and analyse media monitoring including the preparation of MarComs’ monthly management reports. Website Management – Managing hotel’s website from creating, refreshing and uploading content on an always-on basis, on both brand. com and third-party loyalty platforms. Regularly review website analytics to address drop-off points and test initiatives to improve guest engagement, leading to more bookings.

EDMs – Drive monthly and thematic email marketing to hotel and F&B loyalty databases. Guest Collaterals – Proactive copywriter for all hotel guest touchpoints to ensure consistent verbal identity across all marketing collaterals on an always-on basis. This would include developing fresh and relevant content highlighting the hotel’s distinct, varied offerings and brand’s values. Integrated Marketing Planning and Campaigns – Assist in developing holistic Public Relations and marketing strategies on an always-on and campaign basis. Sustainability – Regularly conduct Sustainable Hotel Building Tours.

Participate in the hotel’s sustainability programmes and promote the hotel’s sustainability philosophy to existing and potential guests. Shared Team Responsibilities and Special Projects – While i/c of one of the hotel’s F&B outlets (e. g. Peppermint), to also support rest-of-hotel requests and communication materials/collaterals for all guest-facing touchpoints. To embark on special campaigns and projects that is assigned beyond scope. Other Responsibilities – Support media/influencer tastings/stays/drops, processing of invoices, facilitating filming requests, other tasks assigned by the Marketing Communications Director. Internal Marketing Communications Director and team membersInternal Hotel Teams including F&B and its outlets from Culinary, Commercial, Catering Sales, Front Office, Housekeeping, Spa, Management Team Internal Corporate Marketing teams – Communications, Brand, Digital, SocialExternal PR agencies External content creators, influencers, media, community Who We’re Looking For Minimally 4-6 years of working experience in Public Relations, integrated marketing and communications in travel, hospitality, F&B, lifestyle sectors. Proficient in media pitching, management and monitoring, content development, website marketing and management.

Proficient in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and other creative tools to aid in website development, as well as media monitoring tools. Minimum Diploma in Marketing, Business Communications or related fields from a recognised tertiary institution. Added advantage as a proficient Mandarin writer and speaker. Strategic thinker, excellent verbal and written communication skills, collaborative team player, proactive, problem solver, possesses a good attitude. Keeps up-to-date with industry trends, platform updates, technologies, best practices, competitor activity.
