Position DetailsPosition InformationPosition Title Part-Time Academic (MUSC 4367/5367.03 Topics in Musicology II) - Winter 2026Posting Number PTAP3068PDepartment/Unit Fountain School of Performing ArtsLocation Halifax, Nova Scotia, CanadaJob Summary & Key ResponsibilitiesThis Part-Time Academic will be fully responsible for the teaching and grading of one section of MUSC 4367/5367.03 Topics in Musicology II (Early Ballet, Dance, and Gesture, 1600-1800), from January 1 to April 30, 2026.The candidate will work closely with teaching staff in the musicology area to coordinate curriculum requirements. The instructor is required to provide a Method of Assessment. This position reports to the Director of the Fountain School of Performing Arts.Qualifications/Requirements Of PositionA completed PhD in Musicology is required; as well as teaching experience at the university leveland evidence of teaching effectiveness (formal course evaluations).
